Big Sean Returns with "Better Me Than You," His First Solo Album in Four Years



Big Sean is back and making waves with his long-awaited album Better Me Than You, marking his first solo project in four years. The 21-track album runs just over an hour and showcases an impressive lineup of guest features that span various genres, adding depth and diversity to the record.

Notable collaborations include Charlie Wilson on "Break the Cycle," Gunna on "It Is What It Is," and Eryn Allen Kane on "Apologize." The album also features "Black Void" with Thundercat, "Something" with Syd, and "This n That" with Bryson Tiller. Other highlights include Teyana Taylor, Larry June, and DJ Premier on "Million Pieces," Cash Cobain on "Get You Back," Nasaan on "Certified," Ellie Goulding on "My Life," and The Alchemist on "Together Forever."

Earlier this week, Big Sean took to Instagram Live to announce the release date of Better Me Than You and opened up about the emotional journey behind the album. “I appreciate my mom for being that guardian angel always giving me that advice. She really talked me through it for real,” he shared. Reflecting on the intense effort he put into the project, he added, “Like I said, I haven’t been sleeping a lot. I’ve been giving this sht my all. I’m burned the fck out. I’m tired. I do do this sht for the people that fck with me.”
