In celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Le Bar Long at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris has introduced a special collection of bespoke cocktails inspired by cities that have previously hosted world-class sporting events.

Under the creative direction of mixologist Gaël Allier, each cocktail captures the essence of competition and highlights the blend of sport, culture, and gastronomy.

MEXICO 1968: A modern twist on the classic margarita, featuring crisp kumquat for a citrusy balance to the sweet agave, with a hint of coriander bitterness for a refreshing herbal finish.

BARCELONA 1992: Inspired by the Spanish Rebujito, this cocktail combines aromatic Spanish wine, tomato liqueur, and herbal sparkling water for a rich, balanced flavor perfect for summer sipping.

LONDRES 2012: A gin-based cocktail with a summery twist, mixing grapefruit juice and a herbal aperitif of lemon balm and bergamot for a refreshing sensory experience. Also available in a non-alcoholic version.

TOKYO 2020: Inspired by Japan’s Mizuwari, this whisky-based cocktail blends malty flavors with elderflower liqueur, creating a sophisticated and invigorating highball drink.

Cocktail Le Royal Monceau x PARIS 2024: A tribute to the French 75, combining the finesse of white champagne with pear and citrus flavors. Also available in a non-alcoholic version.

This summer, Le Royal Monceau is also celebrating the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by transforming its lobby into a miniature Paris. From June 28, visitors can immerse themselves in an authentic Parisian atmosphere with elements like the Morris column, cobblestones, and bridges, creating a fan zone for the start of the events. Guests can enjoy live coverage of the games on a giant screen starting July 26.

The recreated space pays homage to Paris’s history and its major sporting events, featuring 1920s and 30s-inspired sporting posters as a nod to the last major sporting event held in Paris in 1924.
